Survey | How often do you follow your parent’s advice?

My mom asked me over Christmas why I wasn't dating. It's not like I DON'T want to.

She told me I should hand out business cards saying I'm STD free and have had a vasectomy.

I think my mom needs more pain meds.

most of the time

I usually follow my parents advice because they are usually right.

Whenever they give me advice, I listen to them.

Never.
My mom is insane.
Almost as insane as yours sounds.

Whenever I fail or no other options. They’re right half of the time so that’s why I listen to me first.

not so often

um NEVER.

Not anymore.

They always give me the worst advice ever, never listening to them again.
:)

lol. i rarely follow my parents advice.

I usually don’t follow my parents’ advice. They tend to be wrong.

neither of my parents give advice-they just listen

never! unless the advice is take your dad’s credit card and go on a shopping spree!=)

Most of the time i follow. But i mean some parents mite not be as good as mine. (im not trying to brag I just feel sorry for those whose parents do stupid stuff and don’t even care about them)

uh no com met

Don’t do sexual things with your boyfriend!

did i listen to that?
NO

Sometimes I Did….!!

But, Business Card Idea is Bad,….lol…!!

Wait…

I have parents?

occaisonally…

98% of the time.

BTW you don’t have to date.

lol i rarely listen

I rarely follow it.
I don’t feel like my dad has my best interest at heart so I don’t even bother listening to him.

Not too often. My father told me all of the following:

1.Do not bother to learn to use a computer. Nobody will ever give you a job doing that.
2.When it comes to buying a car or truck, the only thing you need to worry about is the fact that you get the largest engine they offer.
3.The only thing important is you get laid.

The card is funny. I think perhaps your mother was making a joke. Did you get your since of humor from her?

On the subject of your vasectomy; I have no idea how old you are. Having a vasectomy is not going to get you any dates. In fact it will for the most part, remove you from the dating pool until you are about 35. I had the surgery when I was 21. All women who knew that I had it pretty much avoided me like the plague until I was about 35. Women over 25 either are done having children or do not plan to have any to begin with. If you have a vasectomy, they may consider you a “catch” as they know you will not pressure them to make another baby.

I really don’t follow it anymore.

My mother has asked me why I haven’t had kids yet, but when I joke to her about finding a donor for my unborn child, she gets mad.

Just as long as she doesn’t get enough pain meds to want to pick a new girlfriend for you. I almost never listen to my parent’s advice. At 32 I am more grown up than they will ever be!

never have.
